This role supports construction activities through general labour tasks and operation of compaction equipment on-site.
- Operate compaction equipment for site preparation and stabilization
- Perform physical labour including shoveling, lifting, and site cleanup
- Support skilled trades and equipment operators as needed
- Follow safety protocols and report hazards promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work 10-hour shifts on a 6/1 schedule
Requirements
Candidates must have relevant labour and equipment experience, meet safety certifications, and be physically able to handle demanding work.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating compaction equipment
- Valid CSTS-2020 and WHMIS certifications
- Physically fit and able to work in varied outdoor conditions
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written
- Must have reliable transportation to the Port Moody job site
