Horizon North, part of Dexterra Group (TSX:DXT), is hiring a Labourer - Snow Removal for the Mount Bracey project near Dawson Creek, British Columbia. This full-time position follows a 20 days on / 10 days off rotation with transportation provided to site. The role involves supporting maintenance operations by clearing snow, performing general outdoor labour, and maintaining cleanliness and safety across the camp. Employees work in varying weather conditions and are expected to bring appropriate winter gear. Responsibilities

The Labourer - Snow Removal is responsible for maintaining safe, clean, and operational outdoor areas around the camp. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist with snow removal from walkways, roads, and camp areas.
  • Maintain Horizon North camp equipment in top working condition.
  • Perform general site clean-up and ensure all outdoor spaces meet cleanliness standards.
  • Handle manual labour tasks such as bending, lifting (up to 45 lbs), and carrying materials.
  • Load and unload materials and supplies as required.
  • Support maintenance and service operations under the direction of the Maintenance Lead.
  • Clean and properly store tools and equipment after use.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Requirements

Ideal candidates are physically fit, safety-focused, and experienced in general labour. Requirements include:

  • Minimum 3 years of previous labour experience.
  • Fall Arrest certification considered an asset.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and perform strenuous physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Capable of working in varying climates and outdoor conditions (cold, wet, or humid).
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented work ethic.
