Responsibilities
The Surface Fuel Attendant is responsible for maintaining fuel management systems, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting site operations.
- Offload ISO containers and totes into the fuel management system.
- Use fuel data systems and maintain fuel transfer records.
- Refuel site equipment, including heavy machinery.
- Maintain diesel tank farm, ensuring cleanliness and spill prevention.
- Assist with propane systems, including data logging and tank movement.
- Perform snow removal around fuel storage areas.
- Conduct safety inspections at the tank farm.
- Assist with site clean-up and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Candidates should have prior experience in fuel management or site operations and meet the following qualifications:
- Grade 12 diploma or GED.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Physically fit; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work 12-hour day and night shifts.
- Certification in Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS).
- TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) certification.
- Emergency Spill Response training.
- Strong communication and ability to follow safety procedures.
