Responsibilities

The Fuel & Lube Technician is responsible for fueling and servicing heavy equipment to ensure operational efficiency at the mod station.

  • Operate combo truck to fuel and lubricate heavy equipment.
  • Maintain and service equipment at the mod and pump station.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols in a safety-sensitive environment.
  • Conduct inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues.

Requirements

Candidates must meet experience and safety requirements to perform the duties of this safety-sensitive role.

  • Previous experience with fuel and lube operations.
  • Experience working in an open pit mine environment.
  • Experience operating articulating combo trucks.
  • Familiarity with mod and pump station operations.
  • Mandatory safety ticket: CSO from Energy Safety Canada.
  • Physically able to perform demanding tasks in various conditions.
  • Clean 3-year driver's abstract with under 9 demerits.
  • Proficient English communication skills.
  • Drug and alcohol testing required.
