ATCO Frontec is currently seeking a Front Desk Clerk to support its Camp Services team at Artemis Blackwater Mine, approximately 160 km southwest of Prince George in central British Columbia. The role is responsible for guest check-in/check-out services, managing financial records, and ensuring accuracy in accounting procedures for the lodge. This rotational camp-based position includes free accommodations, meals, and access to site amenities, with the work schedule to be confirmed.

Responsibilities
The Front Desk Clerk ensures smooth reception operations and accurate financial documentation. Responsibilities include:
- Managing guest bookings, check-ins, and check-outs
- Greeting and assisting guests with inquiries
- Posting and verifying purchase/sales invoices and financial transactions
- Ensuring accurate department codes and account entries
- Checking monthly lodge reports and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing and distributing inventory reports and financial summaries
- Clearing general ledger accounts and petty cash
- Completing weekly board sheet closings and daily reporting
- Managing room transfers and notifying guests of mail
- Reporting guest-related maintenance issues
- Performing additional administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements
Candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in accounting or finance (asset)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting, finance, or AP/AR roles (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor and customer service orientation
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office programs
