ATCO Frontec is hiring a Site Administrator / Hotel Front Desk to support operations in Resolute Bay, Nunavut. This remote position involves performing administrative, logistical, and hospitality tasks in support of government and private sector operations in Canada's high Arctic. The role follows a 4-weeks-on / 4-weeks-off rotation with all travel paid and camp accommodations provided. The pay rate is $26 per hour, and the position includes pre-employment drug, medical, and security clearances due to its safety-sensitive designation.

Responsibilities

This role provides comprehensive administrative and hospitality support to a remote operations team in Resolute Bay.

  • Manage daily correspondence with clients and vendors
  • Provide full administrative support to management and project team
  • Answer phone calls and emails professionally
  • Maintain both manual and digital records and reports
  • Prepare service orders, reports, and presentations
  • Submit cost and reconciliation data to Yellowknife office
  • Coordinate flight and hotel bookings for rotating crew
  • Serve as the primary administrative contact on site
  • Follow all safety and operational procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Candidates should have proven administrative experience and strong organizational and communication skills for this northern camp role.

  • Administrative training or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years in office or financial admin roles
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Experience in multicultural, fast-paced environments
  • Experience in remote or northern settings is an asset
  • Must pass pre-employment drug, medical, and criminal checks
  • Final candidates require a Security Clearance Check
