Responsibilities
As an Equipment Operator, you will support site operations by safely operating heavy equipment and assisting with general construction activities.
- Operate skid steers and excavators for site prep and earthworks
- Support material movement and equipment staging
- Perform daily pre-use inspections and report issues
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental guidelines
- Assist with general labour and site maintenance as required
- Work 10-hour shifts on a 6/1 schedule
Requirements
Applicants must meet minimum equipment operation experience and safety certification standards, and be physically capable of site work.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating skid steers and excavators
- Valid WHMIS certification
- Physically capable of demanding job tasks in varied site conditions
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Reliable personal transportation to Port Moody job site
