Newmont is hiring a Bus Driver / Equipment Operator for its Brucejack Gold Mine in northern British Columbia, located approximately 65 km north of Stewart. This fly-in/fly-out role includes private camp accommodations with individual washrooms, nutritious meals, and recreational amenities like a gym, golf simulator, and seasonal outdoor activities. The rotation schedule is 13 days on and 13 days off. Employees will safely transport personnel and materials to and from the site while working in a supportive and safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities
As a Bus Driver / Equipment Operator, you will support site operations by transporting personnel and materials safely to and from the Brucejack Mine.
- Operate buses, trucks, trailers, and off-road haulers.
- Conduct inspections, maintenance, and logbook entries.
- Secure and transport equipment and materials safely.
- Perform winching, load securement, and waste hauling duties.
- Drive in extreme weather and off-road conditions.
- Maintain adherence to safety and operational protocols.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
- Valid Class 1 Driver's License with clean abstract.
- 5+ years of hauling experience.
- Experience with winch trucks, vac trucks, and off-road equipment is an asset.
- Familiarity with hazardous goods and logbook regulations.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in remote settings and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Successful completion of pre-employment medical and drug testing.
