Electrician - Oilfield Construction Maintenance - Monday to Friday 8 Hour Days
FLINT is hiring an experienced Journeyperson Electrician for a temporary contract position on an upcoming oil and gas project in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This role starts immediately and runs through August 31, 2025. Electricians will work Monday through Friday, 8-hour days, and are eligible for benefits after 300 hours worked. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the oil and gas sector, proficiency in reading drawings and sourcing materials, and familiarity with PLCs. This opportunity is best suited for local candidates as no camp, travel, or living allowance is included. Requirements
Candidates must meet industrial trade and safety qualifications and be prepared for full-time contract work in Winnipeg.
- Minimum 5 years of oil and gas electrical experience
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician certification
- Ability to read drawings and source materials
- Familiarity with PLCs
- Valid CSTS-09 or CSTS-2020, AWP, First Aid, and Fall Protection
- Reliable personal transportation and valid driver's license
- Clean 5-year driver's abstract with fewer than 6 demerits
- Physically capable of heavy lifting and demanding site work
- Strong English communication skills
