Responsibilities

As a Dozer Operator, you will be responsible for executing critical earthworks tasks in support of Morgan's heavy civil projects across Alberta.

  • Operate D6T, D8, D9, or D10 dozers for earthmoving and finishing work.
  • Perform stripping, ripping, slope cutting, topsoil placement, and grading.
  • Support road, lease, and pad construction and reclamation activities.
  • Conduct detailed equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, PPE requirements, and project guidelines.
  • Assist ground personnel when needed and collaborate effectively with crews.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating large dozers (D6T-D10).
  • Experience in heavy civil, oilfield, or mining environments.
  • Skilled in reading grade plans and working on soft ground.
  • Ability to finish or trim is an asset.
  • Capable of shoveling out equipment tracks.
  • Required certifications: CSTS-09, OSSA/BSO/CSO, H2S Alive, First Aid, Bear Awareness.
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
  • Must pass pre-employment alcohol, drug, and fit-to-work assessments.
  • CSA-approved 6" lace-up safety boots required.
