Responsibilities
As a Dozer Operator, you will be responsible for executing critical earthworks tasks in support of Morgan's heavy civil projects across Alberta.
- Operate D6T, D8, D9, or D10 dozers for earthmoving and finishing work.
- Perform stripping, ripping, slope cutting, topsoil placement, and grading.
- Support road, lease, and pad construction and reclamation activities.
- Conduct detailed equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
- Adhere to safety protocols, PPE requirements, and project guidelines.
- Assist ground personnel when needed and collaborate effectively with crews.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating large dozers (D6T-D10).
- Experience in heavy civil, oilfield, or mining environments.
- Skilled in reading grade plans and working on soft ground.
- Ability to finish or trim is an asset.
- Capable of shoveling out equipment tracks.
- Required certifications: CSTS-09, OSSA/BSO/CSO, H2S Alive, First Aid, Bear Awareness.
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must pass pre-employment alcohol, drug, and fit-to-work assessments.
- CSA-approved 6" lace-up safety boots required.
