Crusher Operator - Remote Camps Nunavut - FIFO - 3 Week Rotations
MATRIX is hiring experienced Crusher Operators for a remote construction and quarrying project near Bathurst Inlet, Nunavut. This fly-in/fly-out role includes full camp accommodations, travel allowance, and a competitive daily pay rate of $600 to $700 for 12-hour shifts. Operators will manage a Terex crusher and may also operate loaders or rock trucks as needed. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of crusher operation experience in mining or heavy civil environments, hold a valid driver's license, and be physically capable of working in remote, demanding conditions.

Responsibilities
Crusher Operators will manage and maintain crushing equipment to support remote mining and construction operations.
- Operate Terex crusher to process earth, rock, and gravel
- May operate other heavy equipment (loaders, rock trucks)
- Complete FLHAs, inspections, and load sheets
- Perform pre-operational equipment checks
- Refill fluids, clean, and grease equipment as needed
- Participate in pre-shift safety meetings and training
- Maintain clean equipment and follow safety protocols
- Perform general laborer duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualified candidates must have extensive crusher operation experience and be capable of working safely and independently in remote settings.
- Minimum 5 years of crusher operation in mining or heavy civil projects
- Familiarity with loading, hauling, and material processing
- Valid Driver's License required
- Strong safety background and remote site experience
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Physically fit to lift 50 lbs and perform 12-hour shifts
- Valid safety tickets (First Aid, CPR, TDG, Fall Protection) preferred
