Civeo Premium Services Employees LP is seeking experienced Cooks for on-call contract positions at remote lodges near Merritt, British Columbia. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing a variety of meals while ensuring food safety, sanitation, and production standards. This camp-based role operates on a 20/10 rotation and includes a job completion bonus.

Responsibilities

Cooks are responsible for preparing high-quality meals and maintaining cleanliness in a remote kitchen environment.

  • Plan and organize daily food production and kitchen tasks
  • Assist with menu planning, ordering, and inventory
  • Prepare and cook various meals including meats, salads, and entrees
  • Ensure daily production and cleaning tasks are completed
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and service standards
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as required

Requirements

Applicants should have culinary experience and meet safety and physical standards for remote camp cooking roles.

  • 1-3+ years of food service experience, preferably in remote or high-volume settings
  • Valid Food Safety certification (BC)
  • First Aid certification is an asset
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
