Camp Administrator - Remote Mining Camps British Columbia - FIFO
MATRIX is hiring a Camp Administrator for a seasonal fly-in/fly-out contract at a remote camp north of Terrace, British Columbia. This full-time role runs until early October 2025 and pays $325-$375 per day depending on experience. The Camp Administrator will manage logistics, guest check-ins, supply inventory, timesheets, and general administrative functions to support seamless camp operations. This position includes paid travel days, camp accommodations, and a 3/3 rotation. Level 1 First Aid certification is required, along with strong organizational and communication skills.

The Camp Administrator will coordinate daily operations and provide administrative support to maintain high-quality services in a remote camp environment.
- Coordinate logistics for transportation, accommodations, and catering
- Greet, check in, and check out camp guests
- Manage billing processes and ensure timely, accurate charges
- Handle administrative tasks including data entry, record keeping, and filing
- Monitor inventory and reorder supplies as needed
- Track fuel levels and other camp consumables
- Assist with timesheet processing, scheduling, and travel arrangements
- Conduct quality assurance checks on food service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
- Collaborate on planning and budgeting with management
- Respond to guest and staff inquiries and provide support as needed
Requirements
Candidates must be experienced administrators with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage camp operations independently in a remote setting.
- Previous experience in camp administration or similar roles
- Valid Level 1 First Aid Certification (or 2-day equivalent)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Knowledge of camp operations and logistics is an asset
