ATCO Frontec is hiring an Assistant Lodge Manager to join the Jansen Discovery Lodge team in Leroy, Saskatchewan. This rotational, camp-based leadership role involves coordinating all aspects of camp operations, including food services, accommodations, transportation, security, and amenities. On-site meals, accommodations, and amenities are provided free of charge during rotation. The Assistant Lodge Manager is responsible for overseeing daily camp operations and ensuring quality service delivery across all departments.
- Lead and manage multi-disciplinary support teams
- Oversee service delivery including food, accommodation, transport, and security
- Act as liaison with client site-management staff
- Ensure orientation, training, coaching, and rotation scheduling
- Support monthly quality audit inspections
- Manage budgets and monitor financial performance
Requirements
Applicants should possess strong leadership experience in hospitality or camp management with an emphasis on team coordination and operational excellence.
- Degree or diploma in Hotel/Accommodation Management (preferred)
- 4-6 years of management experience in hospitality
- Remote camp service experience is a strong asset
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Business acumen, negotiation, and analytical capabilities

The Jansen Discovery Lodge is a state-of-the-art workforce accommodation facility supporting BHP's Jansen Potash Project in Saskatchewan. Designed and constructed by ATCO Structures, the lodge accommodates up to 2,586 workers and offers amenities such as fitness facilities, squash courts, steam rooms, and a 200-seat movie theatre, providing a comfortable living environment for the workforce. In March 2023, BHP awarded a multi-year contract to Wicehtowak Frontec Services (WFS), a joint venture between ATCO Frontec Ltd. and George Gordon Developments Ltd., to provide camp support services at the lodge, reflecting a commitment to Indigenous partnerships and community engagement.
