This opportunity features a Monday to Thursday schedule with 10-hour days and benefits eligibility after 300 hours worked. Best suited for local applicants, the position does not include camp accommodations, travel, or living-out allowance. Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Electrician, you'll support industrial electrical systems in a site-based environment under the supervision of Journeypersons.
- Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
- Perform cable pulls, terminations, and basic control wiring
- Follow safety procedures and site regulations
- Support senior electricians with tools and materials
- Complete physically demanding tasks in various work conditions
Requirements
Applicants must be certified apprentices with industrial experience and be physically capable of working in demanding environments.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an industrial setting
- Valid Apprentice Electrician ticket/certification
- Valid CSTS-2020 and Fall Protection certifications
- Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks
- Proficient in English (written and verbal)
- Valid driver's license with clean 5-year abstract (under 6 demerits)
- Own reliable transportation to Carseland site
