The 3rd Cook supports food preparation for large-volume meal service in a remote camp kitchen. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and cooking fast food and a la carte items
• Serving food at grill, buffet, or station setups
• Following recipes and safety regulations
• Operating kitchen equipment and tools
• Cleaning and sanitizing workstations
• Preparing bakery items and large batch meals
• Receiving and moving inventory
• Participating in safety meetings and training
• Complying with HACCP and food safety protocols
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Candidates should bring entry-level kitchen experience and knowledge of food safety processes. Requirements include:

• Completion of a recognized pre-employment cooking course
• Excellent knife skills and kitchen equipment knowledge
• 1-2 years of industrial kitchen experience (1,000-5,000 persons)
• 1-2 years of high-volume food prep and processing experience
• 1 year of HACCP experience
• Equivalent education and experience may be considered
• Ability to work day or night shifts
• Good performance and attendance record
