2nd Cook - Borealis Lodge - 20 Days On, 10 Days Off - Camp
Civeo Services is seeking a Second Cook/Baker to support food preparation and kitchen operations at its remote camp on Tar Island near Fort McMurray, Alberta. The successful candidate will assist the First Cook with meal service, kitchen maintenance, and inventory. This role is based on a 20/10 rotational schedule, which may include night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Camp accommodations are provided.

The Second Cook/Baker supports food service operations in a remote, high-volume kitchen environment.
- Prepare and cook menu items under guidance of First Cook
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly kitchen cleaning tasks
- Maintain food safety, quality, and service standards
- Rotate groceries using FIFO method
- Assist with inventory and kitchen record-keeping
- Deliver food to other locations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Candidates should have culinary experience and be safety certified for remote camp operations.
- 1-3 years of high-volume kitchen experience, ideally in remote lodges
- Valid Food Safety certification
- CSTS and CSO safety certifications
- First Aid certification an asset
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
