Dexterra Group is hiring a First Cook for Crossroads Lodge in Kitimat, BC. The position follows a 20/10 rotation schedule, with flights and camp accommodations provided. The First Cook is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of high-quality meals in a remote camp environment while ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

The First Cook prepares and serves quality meals in a high-volume remote kitchen while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.
- Prepare meals including meats, seafood, poultry, soups, and vegetables
- Use various cooking methods such as frying, broiling, and baking
- Ensure meals meet budget and quality standards
- Assist with menu planning and inventory
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
Requirements
Candidates must have extensive culinary experience and knowledge of high-volume kitchen operations.
- Minimum 7 years in food service or hospitality
- Experience as Sous Chef or similar role
- FoodSafe Level I required
- Advanced food safety certifications an asset
- WHMIS certification with 80%+ test score
