TAWS Security is an Aboriginally owned security company based in Fort McMurray, Alberta, specializing in oil sands gate and mobile patrol security solutions. Established in 2007, TAWS has built a reputation for providing high-quality security services, including location-based security stations and mobile patrol units. The company is known for its rapid response capabilities, notably during the Fort McMurray wildfire, where it deployed management and trained guards promptly to assist the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. In November 2019, TAWS Security was acquired by GardaWorld, a leading provider of integrated security solutions.
