Tartan Canada

Tartan Canada Corporation was a Calgary-based mechanical maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) company founded in 1953. The company provided plant and field maintenance, turnaround services, and sustaining capital project services, primarily serving clients in the industrial and energy sectors. In November 2018, Stuart Olson Inc. acquired Tartan Canada for approximately $12 million, integrating Tartan's operations into its Industrial Group. At the time of acquisition, Tartan had approximately 400 employees and a backlog of about $50 million, with revenues of approximately $70 million for the 12 months prior to September 30, 2018.
