Precision Drilling Corporation is Canada's largest drilling rig contractor and one of the largest oilfield services companies in North America, publicly traded on the Toronto and New York stock exchanges under the tickers PD and PDS and headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. Founded in 1951, the company provides contract drilling, completion, and production services to oil, natural gas, and geothermal exploration and production companies in Canada, the United States, and select international markets, operating one of the largest fleets of drilling and service rigs on the continent. Precision operates through two business segments: Contract Drilling Services, which includes its fleet of high-performance drilling rigs, oilfield supply procurement, and the manufacture and repair of drilling equipment; and Completion and Production Services, which includes service rigs, oilfield equipment rental, wastewater treatment, and camp and catering services. Through its camp and catering operations, Precision provides accommodations and on-site management at remote drilling locations across Western Canada and the United States, supporting oil and gas crews working in the field. The company also offers drilling automation and environmental technology solutions under its Alpha and EverGreen brands.
