Hemlo Mining Corporation

Hemlo Mining Corp. is a Canadian mid-tier gold producer publicly traded on the TSX Venture Exchange and OTCQX under the tickers HMMC and HMMCF, focused on operating and enhancing the Hemlo gold camp in northwestern Ontario. The company's flagship and sole operating asset is the Hemlo Gold Mine, located near Marathon, Ontario, roughly 35 kilometres east of the town along the north shore of Lake Superior, which has produced approximately 25 million ounces of gold from underground and open-pit operations since 1985. Hemlo Mining Corp. was formed through the acquisition of the Hemlo mine from Barrick Mining Corporation, a transaction that closed in November 2025 for consideration of up to US$1.09 billion, after which the company (previously a corporate shell named Carcetti Capital Corp.) took on the Hemlo Mining name. In early 2026, the company transitioned the mine from a contractor-operated model to an owner-operator model and launched a large exploration and drilling program aimed at extending the mine's life and growing its resource base.
