Barrick Mining Corporation

Barrick Mining Corporation is one of the world's largest gold producers and a growing copper miner, headquartered in Toronto and listed on the New York Stock Exchange (GOLD) and Toronto Stock Exchange (ABX). Formerly Barrick Gold Corporation, the company rebranded to Barrick Mining Corporation in 2025 to reflect its expanding copper business alongside gold. Barrick operates a portfolio of large, long-life mines built around its "Tier One" strategy — assets producing at least 500,000 ounces of gold annually with more than a decade of reserves and costs in the lower half of the industry curve. Its principal operations include the Nevada Gold Mines joint venture in the United States, Kibali in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Loulo-Gounkoto in Mali, and Pueblo Viejo in the Dominican Republic, alongside copper assets such as Lumwana in Zambia and the Reko Diq project in Pakistan. In 2025 the company divested its remaining Canadian operation, the Hemlo gold mine in Ontario, as part of a strategy focused on its largest and lowest-cost global assets.
