Situated in the Elk Valley region of British Columbia, Teck Elk Valley Lodge serves as the designated accommodation facility for employees and guests of Teck Resources Limited, a major player in Canada's coal mining industry.

The camp supports operations across various sites, including the Elk Valley, Fording River, and Greenhills mines. Managed by ATCO Frontec, the lodge provides comfortable accommodations and essential services to support individuals involved in coal mining operations.

Salad and Sandwich Makers

Salad and Sandwich makers are responsible for preparing salad bar items, making specialty sandwiches, and maintaining the cleanliness of all kitchen flatware, pots, pans, and plate-ware. Candidates should demonstrate creativity and efficiency in producing high-volume salad and sandwich products and oversee food serving areas to ensure quality, adequate stocking levels, and minimal waste.

A valid food safety certificate and at least 1 year of experience as a Salad/Sandwich Maker are required.

3rd Cooks - $20/hr

The 3rd Cooks ensure all meal preparation is organized and completed to high standards, stock food serving areas with a focus on quality, appearance, and minimizing waste, and prepare and cook food according to standardized recipes while maintaining proper cooking times and temperatures.

Candidates should hold a valid food safety certificate and have 2-3 years of experience as a 3rd Cook or Breakfast Cook in the Camp/Hotel/Restaurant industry. Completion of a post-secondary cooking program is considered an asset.
