KMC Mining is offering remote camp job opportunities at the Suncor Energy Oil Sands Mining Operation in Fort McMurray. They are seeking experienced heavy equipment operators and service technicians to join their team. Successful applicants will benefit from provided transportation to and from the work site.

Remote camp jobs in Fort McMurray at the Suncor Energy Oil Sands Mining Operation. Job Positions include heavy equipment operators (haul truck, excavator, Shovel, and dozer) and service technicians.

The company hiring is KMC Mining. KMC Mining operations include railroads, damns, mines, and other major earthworks projects in Western Canada. They have been providing their services to almost all the major oil sands mining projects in Alberta since 1973.

Heavy Equipment Operator positions require 1-2 years of experience. Preference will be given to applicants that have experience operating most of the heavy equipment mentioned below. The shift rotation is 5 days, 5 nights, and 5 off. You will be provided with transportation to and from the work site.

Haul Truck Operator

  • CAT 777, 793, 930 and 789
  • HD 1500 and 930E

Excavator and Shovel Operator

  • PC 1250 and 2000 - Komatsu
  • Hitachi 850, 1200 and 500
  • JD 870
  • OandK 200 and 340
  • PC 8000 - Komatsu
  • Hitachi 2500 Hydraulic Shovel

Dozer Operator

  • CAT D9 - D10

Service Technicians or Serviceman positions requires at least 1 year of experience servicing heavy equipment mentioned above. Preference will be given to local candidates but non local candidates are welcome to apply. The shift rotation is 7 days, 7 nights, and 7 off. You will be provided with transportation to and from the work site.
