North America's largest provider of heavy construction and mining services, North American Construction Company is hiring big time for construction of tailings dam at Red Chris Mine. Red Chris Mine is located 80 km south of Dease Lake, British Columbia.
This is a three month long project hauling and placing approximately 1.3M m3 of sands and gravels to construction of tailings dam at Red Chris Mine. All positions located at a remote camp in Northern British Columbia. Remote camp accommodations are provided by the company. Transportation to the camp from Prince George and Smithers is also provided by the company. All positions are on rotation schedule 14x14.
Available Positions
Serviceman - Serviceman positions required Class 3 Drivers License with air brakes. Applicants must be able to drive standard. Experience in servicing and fueling off road vehicles is a must.
Excavator Operator - Qualified candidates must have minimum of 2-3 Years' experience operating Excavator 850 to 2000. They must be able to read stakes and be able to place a grade. Applicants must also have the ability to manage trucks that are hauling to them. Class 5 Drivers Licence required.
Dozer Operator - Qualified candidates must have minimum of 2-3 Years' experience operating D6-D9 Dozer. Applicants must be able to read stakes and be able to place a grade. You must also have the ability to manage trucks that are hauling to them. Class 5 Drivers License required.
Labourer - You must have minimum of 1-2 year experience. You must also be physically fit for up to 50 lbs and must have good driving skills. Class 5 Drivers License required.
