Remote Camp Jobs BC - Camp Cooks, Kitchen Helpers, Maintenance, and Housekeeping - 14/7 Rotations

Remote camp job opportunities in British Columbia with Ascot's Premier Gold Project. Sodexo is hiring for various camp kitchen positions, including 2nd and 3rd Cooks, general kitchen helpers, camp maintenance, housekeeping, and more. Full time and permanent positions and 14/7 work rotation with remote camp accommodations at the mine site.

• 14 days on, 7 days off work rotations
• 10-hour work shifts
• Remote camp accommodations
• Pick up location - Terrace Airport
• Full-time and permanent positions

Available camp job positions at the Ascot include,

1. 2nd Cooks ($23/hr) - Prepare food and cook meals following federal, provincial, and corporate standards. Ensure high-quality food service
2. 3rd Cooks ($21/hr) - Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and serve various meal periods (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
3. General Maintenance Technicians ($30/hr)- Perform snow clearing, shoveling, and groundskeeping, Conduct general maintenance or repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, machine servicing, and vehicle servicing Change light bulbs, bathroom fans, install paper dispenser units, change filters, locks, and perform other minor decorative maintenance tasks
4. Camp Attendants, Housekeepers, and Janitors - Clean and maintain dining room areas, including shelves and floors, Set dining room tables and refill condiment containers, Prepare coffee, cold beverages, and occasionally work on steam tables, Serve guests on buffet lines, Wash pots, pans, utensils, and dishes, clean work areas, floors, and garbage receptacles, Load and unload dishwashers and clean kitchenware
5. General Kitchen Helpers - Maintain dorm accommodations, make and change beds, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors, Clean washrooms and shower rooms, dust surfaces, collect and dispose of garbage, recycling, and compost daily, Organize janitor closets and carts, maintain public area cleanliness, Use specialized cleaning equipment and processes, clean light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows, and coverings, May work in luggage warehouse
