Looking for remote camp jobs with longer rotations? Then check out this opportunity to join the Remote Camp Set Up Team at True North Oilfield Ltd. They are looking for both Apprentice and Journeyman positions for positions mentioned below. All positions include full camp accommodations including meals and lodging during your work rotation.

Your responsibilities include installation of modular equipment in remote areas, Building decks and landings, Light finishing carpentry, Heavy lifting, and Assist in camp installations.

Here are some of the positions they are currently hiring for. They are hiring both apprentice and journeyman positions for the positions mentioned below.

  • Experienced camp set up personnel
  • Carpenters (Apprentices and Journeyman)
  • Electricians (Apprentices and Journeyman)
  • Plumbers (Apprentices and Journeyman)
  • Gas fitters (Apprentices and Journeyman)
  • Experienced Labourers (construction experience)

Shift rotations are usually 21 days on and 7 days off depending on the size of the project. About 90% of the work is outdoors including Winter. Most job sites are all out of town. Requires workers to leave for shift on short notice to accommodate the nature of oil and gas industry.

  • WHIMIS
  • Fall Protection
  • Standard First Aid
  • Warm winter gear
  • Own tools
  • Pass DNA pre-employment
