1. First Cooks - $22/hour

• Prepare and cook main meals to high standards
• Use various cooking methods: deep-frying, pan-frying, broiling, baking, boiling, grilling, saut�ing, steaming, etc.
• Ensure all meals are prepared within the allocated food budget
• Maintain consistency in food delivery and adhere to FOODSAFE standards
• Assist in menu planning, inventory counts, and grocery orders
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining room and kitchen areas

Qualifications include,

• Minimum 3 years' experience in the hospitality/food service industry
• Minimum 1 year prior experience as a Sous Chef
• FoodSafe Level I is required; SafeCheck advanced food safety certification or HACCP certification is an asset
• Must pass the mandatory WHMIS test with 80% or higher

1. Second Cooks

• Assist in kitchen operations and maintenance
• Prepare food items for sandwich making and set up salad bars
• Ensure consistent quality standards in food preparation
• Maintain proper storage of all food items
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen

Qualifications for the 2nd cooks include,

• Minimum 5 years' cooking experience in a similar environment
• FoodSafe Level I required; SafeCheck advanced food safety certification or HACCP certification is an asset
• Must pass the mandatory WHMIS test with 80% or higher

1. Janitors - $23.81/hour

• Maintain cleanliness of facilities, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming
• Conduct site inspections and remove snow from pathways as needed
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications for the janitors include,

• Knowledge of commercial janitorial cleaning procedures and equipment
• Related experience in camp setting or hotel/institutional environment preferred
• CTEC or Defensive Driver training required
• WHMIS and First Aid certifications required
