Jardeg Construction Services is hiring Pipeline Labourers for MEG Energy Capital Projects at a site near Conklin, Alberta. These are temporary full-time positions on an 8/6 shift rotation, providing a great opportunity to work in remote camp settings in Alberta's energy sector.

Pipeline Labourers perform a range of tasks essential to pipeline construction. Responsibilities include the use of rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, and chainfalls, along with rigging up spools, valves, blinds, and other components for removal and installation.
Labourers work alongside mobile equipment, including telehandlers and mobile cranes, and assist pipefitters with alignment and bolt-up on pipes ranging from 24" to 42".
Additional duties involve erecting and dismantling skid piles, assisting with stringing activities, manual material handling, and operating hand and power tools. Labourers will also be responsible for cleaning and preparing sites and spotting for various equipment types, including work near overhead powerlines.
Candidates must have previous experience in pipeline work and be comfortable performing manual labour in various weather conditions. A basic understanding of construction techniques and materials is necessary, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent.
Required certifications include Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-2020), H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Confined Space, and Aerial Work Platform (AWP).
A valid driver's license and a clean 3-year driver's abstract are also required, along with satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
