Fly in and fly out remote camp construction jobs in Alberta. Morgan Construction and Environmental is currently hiring for multiple positions in oil sands construction and site preparation projects in northern Alberta. Excavator Operators
The Excavator Operator will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including earth moving, grading, stripping overburden, stacking, stockpiling, lease building, reclamation, road building, pad building, and culvert installation.
The operator should also be prepared to assist ground personnel as needed, ensuring smooth and efficient operations throughout the project.
Dozer Operators
The Dozer Operator should have experience with technical specifications and grade plans, with a preference for those who have worked on road building, oilfield leases, and pad construction. A proven track record in stripping overburden, ripping, placing topsoil, and carrying out reclamation activities in an active mine site is required. The ability to shovel out equipment tracks is also necessary for this role.
Rock Truck Operators
The Rock Truck Operator will be tasked with hauling materials to various locations on the project, operating a 40T rock truck to load and dump materials. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience operating a 40T rock truck in heavy civil earthworks, construction, mining, or oilfield maintenance services to be considered for this position.
Construction Labourers
Construction Labourers will be responsible for setting up work areas, installing signage, and marking hazards, as well as carrying and delivering construction materials, shoveling soil and equipment tracks, and managing flagging and traffic control.
Additional duties include shooting grades, equipment watch, hand excavation around facilities, and erosion control installation.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a construction labourer, with preferred experience as a packer operator in heavy civil earthworks, construction, mining, or oilfield maintenance services.
