Jardeg is hiring for the MEG Energy Pipeline construction project near Conklin, Alberta. This opportunity involves a variety of roles for light, medium, and heavy equipment operators and truck drivers to work on an 8/6 rotation schedule. Remote camp accommodations at the Poplar Ridge Lodge.
- 8 days on, 6 days off rotations with day shifts

The MEG Energy Christina Lake Project is a significant thermal oil sands development in the southern Athabasca oil sands region of Alberta. Utilizing Steam-Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) technology, the project is a vital contributor to MEG Energy's production of crude oil, supplying a substantial output to the market.
Equipment Operators (Light, Medium, and Heavy Equipment) and Truck Operators
Equipment Operators will be required to operate various types of equipment and trucks while performing a range of semi-skilled and skilled tasks in construction and pipeline development operations. Experience in operating a construction grade excavator is essential for this role.
Light, Medium, and Heavy Equipment Operators should have a minimum of 3 years of related experience, preferably in construction and earthwork projects.
Required certifications include Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) 2020, H2S Alive, Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Protection, and Confined Space certification.
Candidates must also possess a Telehandler (Zoom Boom) Ticket, an Equipment Operator Ticket, and a valid Class 5 Driver's License with no restrictions and a clean 3-year Driver's Abstract.
