As a labourer, you will perform tasks to support pipeline maintenance operations, including hand digging of hotlines, removal of existing pipeline coating, operating sandblasting units, site set-up, setting up hoarding/fencing, using hand tools, and small machines. Additional responsibilities include:

• Loading and unloading construction materials and equipment for transport
• Acting as a spotter for trucks and heavy equipment
• General clean-up and ongoing maintenance of work area
• Ensuring work is completed within deadlines
• Flexibility with duties to support project requirements

Qualifications for the pipeline labourers include,

• 1-2 years of labour experience (ideally within pipeline maintenance scope)
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
• Valid class G driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
• Willingness to obtain TDG, Defensive Driving, First Aid Level C, and WHMIS certifications

General work conditions include,

• Project based in various locations across Ontario, with a meeting point in North Bay
• Overnight stays away from home are required
• Work primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
• Subject to overtime, extended work hours, and work weeks as needed
