Ledcor is seeking Labourers, Excavator, and Dozer Operators for a project in Kitimat, BC. This is a site-based role with rotational shifts, working 10-12 hour days for approximately 2-3 months, with the potential to extend.

Responsibilities of the labourers include,
- Perform tasks to support earthworks operations
- Work around decaying infrastructures, overhead hazards, and other contractors in high traffic areas
- General clean-up of work areas, repairs, dewatering, shoveling, cleaning equipment and vehicles
- Spotter duties for equipment operators
- Perform heavy labour work as required
- Ensure work is completed to set deadlines and follows supervisor's instructions
Requirements for the labourers include,
- Minimum 5 years working in an industrial setting
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Skid Steer experience is an asset
- Possession of CSTS 2020 (Construction Safety Training Systems)
- Occupational First Aid Level 1
- Bear Awareness
- Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Valid Driver's License and Driver's Abstract
- Heavy Equipment Operators (Excavator and Dozer Operators)
Responsibilities of the Heavy Equipment Operators include,
- Operate Excavator and Dozer to finish grade
- Support earthworks operations, including reclamation and handling large blast rock
- Work around decaying infrastructures, overhead hazards, steep grades, steep slopes, narrow roads, and other contractors in high traffic areas
- General clean-up, repairs, and maintenance of work areas
- Perform heavy labour work as required, in addition to operating heavy equipment
- Ensure work is completed to set deadlines and on schedule
Requirements for the Heavy Equipment Operators include,
- Minimum 5 years working in an industrial setting
- Minimum 3 years' experience operating an Excavator and Dozer
- Finishing grade experience and skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Skid Steer experience is an asset
- Possession of CSTS 2020 (Construction Safety Training Systems)
