Fly in and fly out remote camp job opportunities in Alberta. Jardeg is seeking Industrial Carpenters and General Labourers for upcoming work in the Wood Buffalo Area.   1. Journeyperson Carpenters and Apprentice Carpenters

As a Journeyperson or Apprentice Carpenter, you will be responsible for:

  • Building forms for concrete
  • Cutting, shaping, and joining materials
  • Identifying and fixing deficiencies
  • Checking accuracy of work and making adjustments as needed
  • Studying blueprints for work planning
  • Constructing and forming chutes for pouring concrete
  • Erecting scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level
  • Acting as a work leader and mentor to apprentice carpenters
  • Reporting abnormalities or defects to immediate supervisors

Requirements include,

  • Certified Journeyperson or Apprentice
  • Preferred: Fall Protection / AWP certification
  • Valid government-issued photo identification (Driver's License preferred)
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Satisfactory completion of Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
  1. General Labourers

As a General Labourer, you will be responsible for:

  • General site clean-up
  • Performing some concrete work
  • Shovelling dirt and ditches
  • Assisting with other duties as required

Requirements include,

  • CSTS-2020 or SCOT certification
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Satisfactory completion of Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
