Ledcor is seeking labourers to join their team for pipeline construction and maintenance work across various locations in Alberta. This is a great opportunity for labourers to contribute to important oil and gas projects, with 9/5 work rotations and travel across Alberta.

As a labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting pipeline maintenance operations. Your responsibilities will include tasks such as hand digging hotlines, removing existing pipeline coatings, operating sandblasting units, and setting up sites.

You will also handle the loading and unloading of construction materials and equipment, act as a spotter for trucks and heavy equipment, and ensure ongoing maintenance and cleanliness of work areas.

To qualify as a pipeline labourer, candidates should have 1-2 years of labour experience, ideally within oil and gas pipeline maintenance. The job requires physical fitness, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with minimal supervision.

Candidates must hold a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract. Additionally, a willingness to obtain certifications such as TDG, Defensive Driving, First Aid Level C, and WHMIS is essential.

This role is project-based across various locations in Alberta, beginning in Spruce Grove, AB. Frequent travel is required to support maintenance activities, with overnight stays necessary. The work schedule consists of 9 days on and 5 days off, with potential for overtime and extended work hours as needed. The job involves working primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
