Now hiring ground workers/labourers for Suncor Fort Hills Oil Sands Operation. Two week work rotations with full remote camp accommodations and flights to Fort McMurray, AB provided.
- Transportation: Flights provided to and from Edmonton or Calgary. Bussing from Fort McMurray to site.
- Overtime: Provided after 8 hours in a day or 44 hours in a week

Responsibilities:
- Steam cleaning equipment as required
- Snow removal around the shop and front parking lot (seasonal)
- Operating fork trucks for moving parts and other items
- Operating company vehicles to pick up parts and move items as requested
- Ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures
- Using adequate and suitable safety equipment, including PPE
- Reviewing safe work plans/hazard assessment prior to job commencement
Qualifications:
- 2 years' experience in a laborer role
- Minimum 1 year of previous mine experience
- Previous experience in shoveling, raking, grade/laser work, managing pumps and dewatering, installing piping, and backfill considered an asset
- Physically fit, capable of lifting 50 lbs, and able to work well with others
- Safety-first attitude
- Attentive and possess strong listening skills
- High school diploma, GED, and/or post-secondary education considered an asset
- Proficient in English, both verbally and written
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
If selected, candidates will need to provide the following.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and recent Driver's Abstract
- Valid CSO, Silica Awareness, and Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness certifications
- Undergo pre-employment testing, including Breath Alcohol Test, Urine Drug Test, Fitness-to-Work Health Assessment, Audiometric Testing, and Vision Screening
