Hiring 2nd Cooks for Remote Camps and Industrial Catering - Entry Level Positions

Remote camp jobs in Alberta. Torch Industries is seeking Second Cooks based out of Edmonton for upcoming remote camp work. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company and gain valuable experience in a remote camp or industrial catering environment.

Responsibilities for the 2nd cooks include,

• Assist in preparing high-quality meals, including hot and cold food preparation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
• Follow all safety protocols and client-specific safety expectations
• Operate kitchen equipment and tools safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation

In order to qualify as a 2nd cook, you must have,

• 3 years of cooking experience (preferred)
• Valid Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler, or equivalent certification (required)
• Ability to reliably commute to the Edmonton, AB office
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
