Responsibilities for the 2nd cooks include,
- Assist in preparing high-quality meals, including hot and cold food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Follow all safety protocols and client-specific safety expectations
- Operate kitchen equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
In order to qualify as a 2nd cook, you must have,
- 3 years of cooking experience (preferred)
- Valid Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler, or equivalent certification (required)
- Ability to reliably commute to the Edmonton, AB office
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
