Heavy Equipment Operators - Dozer, Excavator, and Grader
Heavy Equipment Operators will engage in earth moving, grading, material pushing, and clearing. They must have proven experience in stripping overburden, stacking, stockpiling, and reclamation. Operators will be involved in road building, cut fills, staking, and understanding dirt conditions. They will perform sloping, grading, and running GPS equipment, as well as routine equipment inspections to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
You must have at least 3 years of experience in heavy civil earthworks, construction, mining, or oilfield maintenance services. Experience running dozers (D6-D10), excavators (336, 349, 390), or graders (14-16 H/M series) is required. Preferred candidates will have experience with technical specifications, grade plans, building roads, oilfield leases, pads, stripping overburden, ripping, placing topsoil, reclamation activities, and working on ice road construction.
Rigid Frame Haul Truck Operators
Rigid Frame Haul Truck Operators will transport materials to designated locations within a worksite and perform routine equipment inspections to ensure optimal functionality and safety. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of recent experience operating a 773, 777, or 789 haul truck. Proven experience as a rigid frame haul truck operator in the heavy civil earthworks, construction, mining, or oilfield maintenance services industry is required.
Rock Truck Operators
Rock Truck Operators will safely transport materials to designated locations within a worksite. They will perform routine equipment inspections, meticulously examining tires, fluids, lights, and brakes to ensure the optimal functionality and safety of the rock truck. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of recent experience operating a 40-ton rock truck and proven experience in the heavy civil earthworks, construction, mining, or oilfield maintenance services industry.
Construction Labourers
Construction Labourers will be responsible for setting up work areas with signage and marking out hazards. They will carry and deliver construction materials, shovel soil and/or equipment tracks, and perform flagging and traffic control. Other duties include shooting grade, equipment watch, and hand excavation around facilities. Labourers will also install erosion control measures using geotextile materials.
For all job positions, general requirements include,
- Must have (or be willing and able to obtain) CSTS-09/ OSSA Regional or BSO or CSO, Intermediate First Aid, H2S Alive, Bear Awareness (in class)
- Provide your own CSA Approved steel-toed 6" lace-up boots
- Able to repetitively and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Pre-employment alcohol, drug, and fit-to-work testing required
