- Weekly rotations: 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off (12-hour shifts)

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will support the Mine Operations team at Albian Sands by safely operating various kinds of heavy equipment to achieve operational objectives. This safety-sensitive position requires adherence to health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Safely operate equipment including:
- Dozer (D11, D10)
- Grader (24H/M, 16 H/M)
- Excavator (Hitachi EX 2500, Komatsu PC3000)
- Loaders (CAT 980, 938K, 988)
- Shovels (Bucyrus 495, Hitachi EX 8000)
- Haul Truck (CAT 797)
- Comply with all Health and Safety Requirements established by CNRL
- Use Safety Management System tools such as FLHA's, Hazard ID's, and WSO's
- Adhere to regulations and legislative requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act for Alberta and environmental standards
Requirements for heavy equipment operators at the Albian Oil Sands include,
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalency
- 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in a mining/oil sands environment
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
