• Fly-in/fly-out from Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will support the Mine Operations team at Albian Sands by safely operating various kinds of heavy equipment to achieve operational objectives. This safety-sensitive position requires adherence to health and safety regulations and environmental standards.

• Safely operate equipment including:
  • Dozer (D11, D10)
  • Grader (24H/M, 16 H/M)
  • Excavator (Hitachi EX 2500, Komatsu PC3000)
  • Loaders (CAT 980, 938K, 988)
  • Shovels (Bucyrus 495, Hitachi EX 8000)
  • Haul Truck (CAT 797)
• Comply with all Health and Safety Requirements established by CNRL
• Use Safety Management System tools such as FLHA's, Hazard ID's, and WSO's
• Adhere to regulations and legislative requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act for Alberta and environmental standards

Requirements for heavy equipment operators at the Albian Oil Sands include,

• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalency
• 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in a mining/oil sands environment
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
