ATCO Frontec is offering an exciting temporary opportunity for General Labourers in Resolute Bay, Nunavut. This six-week project, starting July 15, 2024, provides entry-level workers with paid flights and accommodations while they undertake responsibilities such as managing barrels.

ATCO Frontec is seeking temporary General Labourers to join their Site Services department in Resolute Bay, Nunavut. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity with paid flights and accommodations for a six-week project, starting July 15, 2024, and anticipated to end August 24, 2024.

The project duration may change based on project needs. General Labourers will work 10-hour shifts and earn a base wage of $20/hour, with opportunities for overtime.

  • Entry-level position with a base wage of $20/hour
  • Opportunity for overtime
  • Paid economy air travel from the nearest mainline airport to the site and back home at the end of the project
  • Remote camp accommodations provided
  • 10-hour shifts in various weather conditions
  • 5-6 week project duration, with potential adjustments based on project needs

General Labourers

The General Labourer position will be responsible for crushing barrels at the site and working outside. Duties include:

  • Washing 205-gallon barrels properly
  • Crushing barrels in the designated machine
  • Loading barrels into C Can

Requirements for the general labourers include:

  • Completion of a pre-employment Alcohol and Drug test
  • Fit to Work Medical test
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Willingness to learn
  • Positive attitude
