General Labourers and Drivers for Resolute Bay - 6 and 8 Week Rotations - Covered Flights/Camp

Temporary General Labourers and Class 3 Drivers are needed in Resolute Bay, Nunavut. These roles offer covered flights and camp accommodations, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to work in a remote location in northern Canada.

Following positions are identified as safety sensitive and require completion of a pre-employment Alcohol and Drug test, Fit to Work Medical test, and Criminal Record Check.

The General Labourer role starts on July 15, 2024, and the Class 3 Driver position offers an 8 weeks on, 4 weeks off rotation.

1. General Labourers - $20/hour + opportunity for overtime

• Temporary role from July 15, 2024, to August 24, 2024 (subject to change)
• 10-hour shifts
• Economy air travel from the nearest main line airport to the site and back home at the end of the project

Responsibilities for the general labourers include,

• Wash 205-gallon barrels properly
• Crush barrels using designated machinery
• Load crushed barrels into C Cans

1. Class 3 Driver - $29.50/hour

• 8 weeks on, 4 weeks off rotation
• 6 days a week
• 10-hour shifts

Responsibilities for for Class 3 Drivers include,

• Perform fuel deliveries by truck in Resolute Bay
• Deliver fuel to local homes and businesses
• Fuel aircraft, including fixed-wing and helicopters
• Occasionally deliver potable water and perform other required duties
• Use electronic delivery receipt equipment for accounts

Requirements for Class 3 Drivers include,

• Class 3 Driver's License
• Previous experience in fuel delivery
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Professional communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to work well under pressure
