Available Mining Jobs

Excavator Operators -Candidates must have experience operating following machinery.

• John Deere 870
• PC 1250 and 2000 - Komatsu
• Hitachi 850, 1200 and 500
• OandK 200 and 340

Candidates Must also have CSTS/OSSA/BSO and valid driver's license. Your work rotation could either be 10x5 or 7x7 with a competitive wage.

Steamer -Must have a Valid Class 3 driver's license and able to drive Automatic and Standard. Rotation and Transportation: The normal shift rotation is 7 on, 7 off (days and nights). Must have CSTS/OSSA/BSO.

Fuel and Lube Technicians - You must have a minimum of 6 months experience servicing Heavy Equipment. The successful applicants must be competent in the safe and responsible operation of Tandem and Tri drives service truck and servicing of Heavy Mining Equipment.Must be able to drive a manual transmission . Aerial work platform and Fall Arrest training/experience would be considered an asset. Valid class 1 or Class 3 Drivers License. Must have CSTS/OSSA/BSO.

Shovel Operators - Must have experience operating PC 8000 - Komatsu and Hitachi 2500 Hydraulic Shovel. The rotation is 14x7 (7 days, 7 nights and 7 off) with a competitive wage. - Must have CSTS/OSSA/BSO, and Possession of a valid driver's license.

Surveyor - You are responsible for surface updates, volume calculation, land research, legal survey plans, aerial photographs and creating drawings of surveyed areas.

Journeyman Welders - You responsible for the repair of various types of heavy mining equipment using sound welding practices. This includes Haul Trucks, Graders, Excavators and other mining equipment. In order to qualify for this position, yyou must have Journeyman Welder certification, A valid driver's license. Proven safety training and exceptional safety record, BSO and/or CSTS/OSSA, and a minimum of 1 year experience on Heavy Equipment Repair. And Fabricating would be considered an asset.

Joureyman Heavy Duty Mechanics - The successful applicants are responsible for the safe troubleshooting and repair of various types of heavy mining equipment. This includes Wiggle Wagons, Haul Trucks, Dozers, Graders, and Excavators. Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification, A valid driver's license, Proven safety training and exceptional safety record and a minimum of 6 months experience troubleshooting/repairing CAT 777, 789, 793D Haul Trucks, CAT 24M, 24H Graders, CAT D10T, D11T Dozers, Komatsu 930E, 930E Haul Trucks, Komatsu 375, 475 Dozers required.

Journeyman Shovel Mechanics - You are responsible for the safe troubleshooting and repair of Hydraulic Shovels. In order to qualify, you must have Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification, A valid driver's license, Proven safety training and exceptional safety record, A minimum of 6 months experience troubleshooting/repairing Hydraulic and Electric Shovels, and CSTS/OSSA/BSO. Previous Manufactures training on OandK, Komatsu and Hitachi Shovels, Fall Arrest, Confined Space, Hoisting/Rigging, Aerial Work Platform would be considered an asset.

Journeyman Boom Truck Operators - Duties including operating hoist and swing equipment uses to move or unload heavy mining equipment. Truck mounted hydraulic booms will be used to move machinery in a shop or field environment. Float Truck, Winch and Deck experience is considered a strong asset.
