The CNRL Horizon site features an open-pit mine and a bitumen extraction plant designed to mine the oil sands and separate the raw bitumen from the sand before it is upgraded. The upgrading facility uses delayed coking and hydrotreating to produce "upgraded" or "synthetic" crude oil. Work in progress include Construction of the Sulphur recovery unit (SRU) and the delayed coking unit (DCU).

Welders - B Preassure Welders - You must have 3 year experience with current trade tickets: Journeyman/ Red Seal Welder and B Pressure.Current OSSA Safety Tickets also required. This is a full time position with full camp accommodations and flights.

Electricians -Journeyman, Red Seal, and Apprentice Electricians - Your job responsibilities include Cable pulling/dressing, fabrication and installation of Cable trays, glanding and terminating cables, etc. Journeyman, Red Seal, or minimum 3 year apprentice experience required with Current Trade Certifications, Current Safety (OSSA) Tickets (i.e. Fall Pro, AWP), and CSTS or BSO. This is a full time position with full camp accommodations and flights.
