As a Class 1 Operator, you will be responsible for operating snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required. Your duties will include maintaining Alberta Provincial Highways throughout the year.
This involves tasks such as crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, hazard remediation, and other labourer duties. Class 1 Operators in Alberta requires working outside in all weather conditions to ensure the highways are safe and functional.
You must have a valid Class 1 driver's license with air endorsement, a clear 3-year driver's abstract, and must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. Previous experience with snowplow trucks or wheel loaders is highly preferred.
