Ledcor is responsible for maintaining Alberta Provincial Highways, ensuring they remain safe and passable throughout the year. This includes winter and seasonal maintenance, utilizing various heavy equipment to keep highways in top condition.

Class 1 and 3 Operators are responsible for operating snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required to maintain Alberta Highways year-round. This includes assisting with labourer duties such as crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, and hazard remediation.

To qualify, candidates must possess a valid Class 1 or 3 driver's license with air endorsement and provide a copy of a clear 3-year driver's abstract. Successful candidates must complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset.
