Then check out this amazing opportunity to join one of the most reputable earthwork and construction company in Alberta. Thompson Bros is the prime contractor in all aspects of heavy civil earth moving, highway, and oil sands construction projects in Alberta. All positions mentioned below are located in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Full camp accommodations including meals and lodging included.

Available Positions

Dozer Operators - As a Dozer Operator, you will be operating a Dozer as it applies to ditching, sloping, support clean-up in excavations and embankments, ripping, and ability to read grade stakes. In order to qualify for this position, you must have 3 year experience in similar field, be 18 years old, have valid Drivers License, and CSTS/OSSA or BSO Certification. Ground Disturbance, H2S, and First-Aid will be considered as an asset.

Excavator Operators - As an Excavator Operator, you will be operating an Excavator to load trucks, cut to fill, trenching, ditching, and sloping. In order to qualify for this position, you must have 3 year experience in similar field, be 18 years old, have valid Drivers License, and CSTS/OSSA or BSO Certification. Ground Disturbance, H2S, and First-Aid will be considered as an asset.

Water and Sewer Track Loader Operators - As a Loader Operator, your primary responsibilities include back-fill mainline pipe, services, catch basins, fire hydrants, and manholes. You will work with Hoe-pack Operator and Packer operators to efficiently carry out back-fill activities.
