Voisey’s Bay Mine is located in northern Labrador, Canada. It is an open pit mining operation which primarily produce nickel-cobalt-copper concentrate and copper concentrate.

The mine operator at the Voisey’s Bay is Vale Canada Ltd. It is a subsidiary of the Brazilian mining company Vale which has operations over 30 countries in the world employing over 125,000 workers. Following mining jobs at the Voisey’s Bay Mine are directly though Vale Canada Ltd.

Mining operations at the Voisey’s Bay Mine is fly in and fly out based and on two week work rotations. Remote camp accommodations and flights available depending on your location.
For the mine heavy equipment operator positions, you must have experience operating following heavy equipment.

  • CAT 345 Excavator
  • CAT 992 Front End Loader
  • CAT 993G Front End Loader
