The Strathcona Refinery Renewable Diesel Expansion project (SHRED) in Edmonton, Alberta, is currently seeking skilled workers to join its construction team. SHRED, the Strathcona Refinery Renewable Diesel Expansion project, is located in Edmonton, Alberta, and is part of Imperial Oil’s ambitious plans for renewable diesel production. The project aims to produce one billion liters of biofuel annually by utilizing canola, soy, and sunflower oils in conjunction with hydrogen produced from natural gas, with carbon-sequestration facilities. This endeavor will make it the largest facility of its kind in Canada and will support up to 600 construction jobs in Alberta.
