Are you looking for remote camp fly in and fly out job openings for Labourers and Operators? Then check out this opportunity to join the workforce at Birch Mountain Enterprises. This hiring is for a seasonal shutdown work at Kearl Oil Sands Project. All positions include full camp accommodations including meals and lodging. Flight transportation provided from Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta. The project will last from May 15th to June 15th, 2018. All positions are on 15 days on and 5 days off with 12 hour shifts including day and night.
Your duties and responsibilities include: Providing support on our shutdown and turnaround projects, Travel to various job sites in a safe and timely manner, Perform JSAs prior to starting work., Complete equipment 360 walk arounds., Keep company equipment and vehicles clean and well-greased to maintain proper operation throughout your shift and be ready for the next shift, full of water and chemical, fuel unit, and Safe operation of equipment as per BMEL’s operating policies and procedures.
In order to qualify, you must must have experience with it least one of the following equipment (Vacuum truck, high pressure water blasting or steam trucks), Possess valid driver’s license (min class 3) with clean abstract if applying for the operator position, Must have experience working in the oilfield, Clear verbal and written communication skills, CSTS certification required., H2S, Emergency first aid, confined space entry & monitor, fall protection certification required and must successfully pass BME pre-employment evaluation, D&A and fit for duty pre-employment screening
